Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hospitalist Coding Specialist who
will provide coding services for various specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a minimum of 1-4
specialties
Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels and recognize critical
care cases
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain productivity
and quality standards
Required Qualifications
Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is
mandatory
Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is required
Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Outlook
Must have reliable internet, a phone, and current coding
materials
Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95%
or higher
