Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Compile and organize payroll data for journal entries and ensure
accurate uploads into the accounting system
Maintain data accuracy and reconciliation between multiple
financial systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for audits related to
benefits, compliance, and financial reporting
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of payroll-related experience, with exposure to
international payroll being a plus
Proficient in payroll accounting principles and general ledger
reconciliation
In-depth knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations
Knowledge of GAAP and SOX Compliance
Hands-on experience with payroll software, preferably Workday, and
intermediate to advanced Excel skills
