Job Description:

A company is looking for a Platform Architect (GCP) to lead the design and implementation of platform solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based platform architectures to support legacy currency applications and data systems
Collaborate with senior leadership to define cloud strategies and roadmaps for platform modernization
Architect solutions for migrating legacy systems to GCP, ensuring seamless data transfer and operational continuity

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced cloud certifications are a plus
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in platform architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud-based platforms, particularly GCP
Deep knowledge of GCP services for building robust cloud infrastructures
Proven experience in leading large-scale migration projects of legacy applications to the cloud
Understanding of banking and financial services industry, including core banking systems and regulatory standards
